Waterproofing walls and facades

Whatever the material used to build our houses and buildings, they require some form of protection from rain, wind, frost and sun - failure to do so can cause your building's walls and facades to deteriorate and shorten the life of the structure. Since our homes are the biggest single investment that many of us will make, it makes sense to do the best that we can to look after them. By preventing water penetration into walls and facades using AQ Repel S, ProtectGuard, or DO-IT-ALL we can: Stop damp penetrating through the walls – Damp walls within the living and work spaces can lead to illness and make the rooms uninhabitable. Reduce damage from frost – The presence of water in the bricks and stone when the temperature falls below freezing can lead to delamination and crumbling on the surface. Improve thermal efficiency – By preventing water penetration and allowing the walls to breathe the insulating qualities of the walls will improve. Reduce the growth of moss and algae - the lack of water in the walls will discourage further growth of mosses and algae. Natural Stone and Brick Walls Natural stone and brick walls can be waterproofed using AQ Repel S or ProtectGuard which prevent new water impregnation and allows existing water within the wall to escape, resulting in a dry wall. These products are water based, long lasting, and are suitable for both solid and cavity walls.

Multi-Purpose Penetrating Sealer

DO-IT-ALL is a multi-purpose penetrating clear sealer for use over any deteriorated surface requiring restoration, or as a protective coating on new surfaces. Containing pure hybrid 100% acrylic, DO-IT-ALL is shipped in a concentrated form and is diluted prior to use with conventional tap water.

When fully diluted, 1 us gal ( 3.8 Ltr) of DO-IT-ALL will cover approximately 100 m²/coat. The product also contains a high amount of mildicide and will help prevent the growth of mould and fungus on interior and exterior surfaces.

DO-IT-ALL will dry in approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour under normal conditions and may be re-coated after 2 hours.

Graffiti Protection

In addition to preventing water penetration into the wall or facade, ProtectGuard will also give excellent protection against graffiti.

As an anti-graffiti treatment, ProtectGuard does not alter the appearance of the wall or facade.

Graffiti can be removed from a wall which has had ProtectGuard applied with the aid of special graffiti removal compounds and high pressure hot water .
